在烟台,从正月初二开始,走亲访友的人群就开始奔走在通衢阡陌、大街小巷,但因地域风俗不同,走亲戚的顺序不尽相同,大体顺序是外甥走姥姥家,闺女携女婿去妈家,然后是到姑姨姐家,除特殊情况外,一般还要回拜。过年走亲戚,一直能延续到正月十六。走亲戚少不了吃客饭,这是过年期间亲戚之间交流的重要方式,通过吃客饭表达彼此关心和尊重,让亲戚更加亲近和增进了解,既体现了传统又烘托了过年的气氛。
