A Review of the Important Discourses on Borderlands Governance by the General Secretary Xi Jinping

边疆地区有着特殊的地理位置和发展意义,其治理水平和能力直接影响到国家整体的稳定与发展。党的十八大以来,习近平总书记多次到边疆地区考察调研,从国家战略高度把握发展大势,提出一系列关于边疆治理的重要论述。学术界将习近平总书记关于边疆治理重要论述作为一个整体和体系,从历史背景、理论渊源和实践基础、主要内容、重大贡献及落实路径展开了系统性研究,产生了丰富的研究成果。相关研究仍需拓展研究视角、加强理论构建、提高研究时效性,进一步丰富其理论内涵,从而更加深刻地把握习近平总书记关于边疆治理重要论述的内涵与实质,为边疆治理现代化提供智力支撑和行动指南。

The borderlands has special geographical location and development significance.The governance capability to the borderlands directly affects the stability and development of the whole country.Since the 18th CPC National Congress,Gener-al Secretary Xi Jinping has investigated the frontier areas for many times,grasped the development trends from the perspective of national strategy,and put forward a series of important discourses on borderlands governance,which have been regarded as a whole system,including the historical backgrounds,theoretical origins and practical bases,main contents,major contributions and implementation paths.However,such rich research results are still in the primary research stage.In order to deepen the un-derstanding of the connotation and essence of the General Secretary Xi Jinping's important discourses,and provide intellectual support and action guidelines for the modernization of borderlands governance,it is necessary to broaden the research perspec-tive,strengthen theoretical construction,improve the timeliness of the research,and further enrich the theoretical connotation.
