The Analysis,Comparison and Interpretation of the Spanish Translations of Chuanqi Fictions of the Tang Dynasty

唐传奇想象力丰富,社会现实指射深刻,因此受到西班牙语译者的青睐。20世纪40年代至70年代为唐传奇西译的早期阶段,西班牙语国家的翻译家、汉学家将唐传奇作为中国故事最为重要的代表,翻译部分传奇故事;1980年,出现第一个唐传奇西译专集《唐代传奇》,这个译本由中国译出,后被西班牙引入,但是,两个译本在细节处理方面有着显著差异,对比两者,能窥两个翻译方向的内在异同;21世纪前后,唐传奇西译专集开始增多,厘析这些译本对唐传奇的篇目选择与价值阐释,能见译入缘由。

The Chuanqi Fictions of the Tang Dynasty,with their rich imagination and profound reference to social reality,have been favored by Spanish translators.The period from 1940s to 1970s was the early stage of Spanish translation of Chuanqi Fiction of the Tang Dynasty,translators and sinologists in Spanish-speaking countries took Chuanqi Fiction of the Tang Dynasty as the most important representatives of Chinese stories and translated some of the stories into Spanish.In 1980,the first special collection of Spanish translations of Chuanqi Fictions of the Tang Dynasty appeared.The translation was made by China and later introduced by Spain.However,there are significant differences in the treatment of details in these two translations,and a comparison between them provides a glimpse of the inherent similarities and differences between the two directions of translation.Around the 21st century,the number of Spanish translations of the Chuanqi Fictions of the Tang Dynasty began to increase,and an analysis of the selection and interpretation of the value in these translations of the Chuanqi Fictions of the Tang Dynasty can reveal the reasons for their translation.
