摘要
海滩是沿海地区重要的自然和旅游资源,应用遥感手段实现快速稳定的海滩形态信息提取对海岸带管理与研究极其重要。本文构建了海滩形态指数(Beach Morphology Index,BMI)对厦门岛海滩形态信息进行识别,并利用砂质岸线与海滩在地理空间上的特殊关系进行噪声去除,由此实现了海滩形态的精确提取。通过与三种传统监督分类方法进行对比发现,本文提出的BMI海滩形态提取方法在精确度、覆盖度以及提取效率上均有明显优势。进一步验证发现,该方法针对不同区域以及不同源的遥感影像兼具一定的适应性,具有可推广的优点,可为今后海滩形态的提取途径研究提供参考。
Beaches are an important part of natural and tourism resources in coastal areas.The extraction of rapid and stable beach morphological information by remote sensing is essential for coastal zone management and research.This paper proposed the application of the Beach Morphology Index(BMI)to identify the beach morphology information on Xiamen Island.Special relationship between sandy shoreline and beach in geographic space is used to remove noise,so as to acquire accurate extraction of beach morphology.By comparing with three traditional supervised classification methods,we found that the proposed method of BMI beach morphology extraction has obvious advantages in accuracy,coverage,and extraction efficiency.Furthermore,this method could also be applied to remote sensing images taken in different locations and by different sensors,which proved that BMI could be a new method for extensive beach morphology extraction.
