“哲学是什么”这个问题一直是哲学研究中首要而基本的问题。西方传统哲学作为西方思想根源塑造了西方社会基本精神传统;同时,马克思哲学作为人类思想史上的一座丰碑,对整个现代世界产生深远影响。尽管以往更加强调马克思哲学对西方传统哲学的颠覆和超越,但总体而言,从西方传统哲学到马克思哲学正体现了人的本质的发展。这表明哲学中富有生命力的部分始终与人的命运息息相关,哲学归根究底根源于人的自我超越的本性。

This question of“What is philosophy”has always been a primary and fundamental one in the study of philosophy.Traditional western philosophy,as the root of western thought,shaped the basic spiritual traditions of western society.At the same time,Marxist philosophy,as a monument in the history of human thought,has had a profound impact on the entire modern world.Although in the past more emphasis was placed on the subversion and transcendence of traditional western philosophy by Marxist philosophy,in general the development of human nature is also reflected from the traditional western philosophy to Marxist philosophy.This shows that the living part of philosophy is always relevant to the destiny of human beings.Philosophy is ultimately rooted in man’s self-transcending nature.
