网络游戏卷入对留守儿童学业表现的影响:家庭和学校生活质量的中介调节作用

摘要 留守儿童的网络游戏卷入问题引发社会和学界关注,而网络游戏卷入是否会导致学生学业表现下降也一直未达成研究共识。对于留守儿童而言,学校和家庭是其重要的生活场所,这些社会空间也在形塑着他们的行为和发展,因此本研究将留守儿童的学校生活质量和家庭生活质量分别作为中介变量和调节变量带入研究,探索网络游戏卷入和学业表现的关系。本研究基于290份留守儿童问卷,采用PLS-SEM的方法验证模型。结果显示,网络游戏卷入可以通过学校生活质量的中介影响学业表现,家庭生活质量也被证明可以显著调节学校生活质量和学业表现之间的关系。研究发现在一定程度上强调了探索媒介效果研究时需要考虑社会空间对人类行为的影响,同时也呼吁在应对留守儿童的媒介接触问题时强化家校互动沟通。 The involvement of left-behind children in gaming has always been an important topic of concern in both society and academia.However there has been no consensus on whether gaming involvement leads to a decline in academic performance.For left-behind children school and home are important places in their lives and these physical spaces also shape their behavior and development.Therefore this study takes the school and family life quality of left-behind children as mediating and moderating variables respectively and explores the relationship between gaming involvement and academic performance.Based on 290 questionnaires from left-behind children the PLS-SEM method is used to validate the model.The results show that gaming involvement does not have a direct impact but it can affect academic performance through the mediating effect of school life quality.Family life quality is also found to significantly moderate the relationship between school life quality and academic performance.The study also emphasizes the need to consider the influence of physical space on human behavior when exploring mediating effects and calls for strengthened communication between families and schools in addressing the media exposure issues of left-behind children.
