社会身份的技术工具化幻象——基于技术现象学的批判与反思

The Illusion of Social Identity Being Instrumentalized by Technology——Critical Reflection From the Perspective of Technological Phenomenology

社会身份这一概念被视为技术工具的倾向由来已久,与他人交互这一独特属性让它区别于个体身份。作为人与世界、人与社会的交互中介,社会身份在技术现象学层面探讨时定义域并不清晰,从而使得这一叙述在技术工具论范畴内获得了不确切的工具属性。那么,从“人—技术—世界”这一范式来讨论,社会身份是否应当作为一个技术工具的存在并未被否认。文章基于技术现象学的角度,从技术工具属性和人与技术关系方面分析社会身份,得出其不符合技术独立于人存在的特性。社会身份应当是作为人的主体性构成的一部分,并不符合人与技术工具的关系,也不能视为技术工具的存在。

The concept of social identity has long been seen as tending towards technological tools,and its unique attribute of interacting with others distinguishes it from individual identity.As an intermediary between people and the world,people and society,social identity lacks clarity in the context of technological phenomenology,leading to its narrative being vaguely instrumental in the context of technological instrumentalism.Therefore,from the paradigm of human technology world,it is not denied that social identity should exist as a technological tool.Based on the perspective of technological phenomenology,this article analyzes social identity from the aspects of technological instrumental properties and the relationship between people and technology,concluding that it does not align with technology’s characteristic of being independent of human agency.Social identity should be regarded as a component of human subjectivity,which does not align with the relationship between people and technological tools,nor can it be considered a technological tool.
