大规模并行非结构滑移网格守恒型隐式处理方法

Conservative and Implicit Method of Handling Unstructured Sliding Mesh in Massively Parallel Computing

摘要 滑移网格方法的难点是在不引入误差的情况下实现多区域网格之间的数值耦合,提高CFD求解器的并行可扩展性,以及改进交界面处并行通信关系。论文介绍了大规模并行非结构滑移网格守恒型隐式处理方法,并通过算例对滑移网格并行算法的鲁棒性和通量守恒性进行验证,它与串行计算结果具有良好的一致性。通过螺旋桨瞬态流场工程算例检验该滑移网格并行算法应用于船舶与海洋工程领域大规模工程问题的适用性、鲁棒性,以及并行性能。 The sliding mesh technique has been widely used in the simulation of transient flow for rotating components such as marine propellers and turbine machinery.The sliding mesh methods are challenged to achieve numerical coupling between multiple region grids without introducing errors and will restrict the parallel scalability of CFD solvers as the computational scale increases.The difficulty lies in handling the highly transient communication relationships at sliding interfaces.In this paper,we introduce the conservative and implicit method for handling of unstructured sliding mesh in massively parallel computing proposed in the author’s previous work,and then the robustness and conservation of the parallel algorithm are verified with examples.The applicability,robustness,and parallel performance of the parallel algorithm for large-scale engineering applications in the field of ship and ocean engineering are verified through the simulation of the transient flow around a propeller.
