The current usage status and requirements of the gearbox for mining explosion-proof trackless rubber wheel vehicles was introduced,combined with the characteristics of automatic transmission systems commonly used in construction machinery,andtheir performance was compared.Based on the comparison results,the advantages and disadvantages of automated mechanical transmission(AMT)and the current development status at home and abroad were analyzed.Based on the development trend of explosion-proof trackless rubber wheeled vehicles and the usage demand of the coal market,the feasibility and significance of promoting the use of AMT in mining explosion-proof trackless rubber wheeled vehicles are comprehensively discussed;and analyzed the application prospects and market demand of AMT in mining explosion-proof trackless rubber wheeled vehicles.
