What is the Path to Advancement:Reflection on the Professional Development of Primary and Secondary School Teachers——The Educational Narrative Based on 17 Brief Histories of Educators in Hubei

摘要 本文基于17位荆楚教育名家成长简史的教育叙事,考察中小学教师在专业发展过程中经历自准备期的憧憬立志,到入职期的焦虑迷茫,临稳定期的信心渐起,至成熟期的成就富足之心理变化。聚焦到课堂教学情境,中小学教师完成从学习课堂教学的模仿者,到思考课堂教学的探索者,再到创新课堂教学的研究者,最后成为超越课堂教学的育人者之角色转换。奠定中小学教师进阶之路的关键要素包括教育情怀的坚守、持之以恒的努力、重要他人的提点与发展机遇的把握。启示我们在助力中小学教师专业发展的过程中,要加强理想信念教育、组织有计划的帮扶、营造有期待的环境,建设有教育情怀、可持续发展、有职业幸福感的中小学教师队伍。 Based on the educational narratives of 17 prominent educators in Hubei,primary and secondary school teachers undergo psychological changes in their professional development process.They move from the aspiration and determination phase during their self-preparation period to the anxiety and confusion phase upon entering the profession,then gradually gain confidence during the stability phase,and finally experience a sense of achievement and fulfillment in the maturity phase.Focusing on the classroom teaching context,primary and secondary school teachers transition from being imitators of classroom teaching to explorers of classroom teaching methods,then researchers of innovative classroom teaching,ultimately becoming educators who transcend traditional classroom roles in shaping students.Key elements that pave the way for the advancement of primary and secondary school teachers include a commitment to educational ideals,persistent efforts,guidance from significant others,and seizing development opportunities.This narrative shows strengthening educational values,providing organized support,creating an environment with high expectations,and building a team of primary and secondary school teachers with a strong sense of educational commitment,sustainability,and professional satisfaction when assisting their professional development.
