The disadvantages of power supply of conventional refined terephthalic acid(PTA)and polyester spinning projects are discussed,and the advantages of centralized power supply of PTA+polyester integrat-ed projects are briefly described.After the power generated by PTA waste heat generation is supplied to the PTA unit for its own use,the remaining rich power is sent to the downstream polyester spinning unit and the public part through the internal power system.Centralized power supply maximizes the benefit of PTA rich power use,reduces the power cost of polyester equipment,improves the economic benefit and comprehen-sive competitiveness of the enterprise,and makes the company embark on the road of sound development.
