Objective To analyze the effect of clinical pharmacist intervention on the use of prophylactic antibiotics in perioperative period of type I incision. Methods The hospital information system(HIS)of the Second People's Hospital of Huoqiu County was used to retrieve 2570 inpatients who underwent type I incision surgery from January 2020 to December 2021 as the research object. The time node(January 1,2021)for clinical pharmacists to intervene in the use of prophylactic antibiotics during perioperative period was divided into control group(1212 cases)and intervention group(1358 cases). The utilization rate and reasonable rate of prophylactic antibiotics were compared between the two groups. Results The use rate of prophylactic antibiotics in the control group was 60.81%,which was higher than that in the intervention group(29.38%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The reasonable rate of perioperative prophylactic antibiotic use in the control group was 60.89%,which was lower than that in the intervention group(98.74%),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions Through special comments, doctor's advice review, antibiotic training and other measures, clinical pharmacists can significantly reduce the use rate of perioperative prophylactic antibiotics in type I incision and improve the rational use rate.
