Decorative painting,as a common element in interior decoration design,can not only enhance the beauty of interior space,add artistic atmosphere of space,but also reflect the personality and taste of occupants.This paper aims to study the application of decorative painting in interior decoration design.First,it expounds the main classification of decorative painting and its role in interior decoration.Through the analysis of the application scene of decorative painting,it summarizes several application strategies from the aspects of space layout,color matching and theme expression,so as to provide useful reference for interior decoration design.
