As a carrier of the traditional culture of the chinese nation,the architectural component wadang has been preserved until now,which is very precious,it is rich in variety and covers many cultural and historical backgrounds,giving posterity a valuable wealth.It is necessary for contemporary designers to fully analyze and extract the connotation and make use of the tile of each period.The article makes use of the advantages and characteristics of the wadang to integrate into modern design,carry forward the traditional culture of the chinese nation and realize cultural self-confidence.
