摘要
雅各·马利坦意识到现代世界因割裂自然与恩典的统一性而鼓吹一种以人为中心的人道主义,为此,他提出了一种以神为中心的完整的人道主义人性观,并据此提倡和实践了一种通过爱和知识来完善人的位格的所谓“通识教育”。马利坦认为,教育的宗旨是培养人的创造性直觉,而这种创造性直觉的终点是完成了的作品、诗歌、绘画或者交响乐。因此,在马利坦看来,以培育创造性直觉为宗旨的美学教育能够担当完善人的完整性位格这个任务。
Recognizing that the modern world advocates a human-centered humanitarianism by splitting the unity of nature and grace,Jacques Maritain proposes a God-centered complete humanitarian view of human nature.According to this complete humanitarian view of human nature,Maritain proposed and practiced a so-called“liberal education”that aims at perfecting the human personality through love and knowledge.In his view,the purpose of education is to develop one s creative intuition,and the end of this creative intuition is the finished work,the poem,the painting or the symphony.Therefore,in Maritain s view,aesthetic education with the aim of cultivating creative intuition can take on the task of nurturing an integral person.
