摘要
文章从媒介本体论视角探讨了城市传播领域的基本问题:城市空间作为媒介如何使传播得以可能?在传播过程中形成了何种交往关系?从城市起源来看,人们对于恐惧的规避和城市空间对浪漫主义的召唤为城市空间中社会关系的形成创造了可能;就城市发展而言,以现代性为标志的技术象征空间、蕴含特定意识形态的形式象征空间和以人本主义为中心的体验性空间构成了城市空间基本的话语体系,三者的博弈不断主导着城市的空间实践。其中,城市象征空间构造出的是不对称服膺关系,而体验性的城市空间促成了对称不确定关系。
Space,as a medium,provides the fundamental setting for the formation of social relations.From a media ontology perspective,this study explores fundamental questions in the field of urban communication:how does urban space as a medium make communication possible,and what kinds of interactional relationships are generated during the communicative process?Going back to the origins of cities,the human desire to mitigate fear and the urban space's call to romanticism have paved the way for the possibility of forming social relations within urban confines.In terms of urban development,the symbolic spaces characterized by modernity,those imbued with specific ideological forms,and experiential spaces centered on humanism constitute the foundational discourse framework of urban space.The interplay among these three continually steers urban spatial practices.In this way,the symbolic spaces of the city construct a relationship of asymmetric subordination,while the experiential urban spaces promote symmetrical uncertain relations.And the former represents the most fundamental relationship in urban interactions.
