The Dadiaoquzi Chen Miaochangtune is a rap version adapted from Gao Lian's Yuzanji.Rap artists highlight the love story between Chen Miaochang and Pan Bizheng by downplaying the story background,deleting secondary characters and their side plots.While the story inherits the poetic language of Yuzanji,the added dialects make the story of ChenMiaochangtune easy to understand,in line with the aesthetic taste and emotional needs of local audiences.In this regard,the adaptation of Yuzanjiis particularly important from the perspective of rap,which also helps to further understand the adaptation of rap literature to traditional literary works.
