《习近平谈治国理政》中英文版海内外发行以来,影响深远,成为国际社会了解中国的绝佳途径。用典是习近平总书记讲话文章的一大特色,从古诗词到经史子集经典名句,赋予中华优秀传统文化鲜活的当代价值,是习近平文化思想的重要体现,也是构建中国政治话语体系的生动实践。特别是文学用典,为政治话语增添文质兼美的文学文化气息,有助于提升国际传播与接受的效果,其英译特别值得深入探讨。本文重点梳理《习近平谈治国理政》诗词类文学用典,基于英文版考察其翻译策略,探析译者如何在多维语境中捕捉所引古诗词思想要义并在翻译中兼顾政治性与文学性,采用灵活翻译策略,“自塑”新时代中国国际形象、柔性传播中华优秀传统文化的时代价值。

Since its release at home and abroad,Xi Jinping:The Governance of China has a far-reaching impact,which has been becoming an excellent way for the international community to learn about China.A major feature of President Xi Jinping's speeches and articles is the use of classical sayings,from ancient poems and quotes from canonical books to celebrity sayings,which gives traditional culture a contemporary value,which is an important embodiment of Xi Jinping Thought on Culture,and is a vivid practice of building China's political discourse system.In particular,the use of classical Chinese poems adds a cultural flavour of both quality and beauty to political discourse,helping to enhance the effectiveness of communication and acceptance.So its English translation is particularly worthy of in-depth discussion.This paper summarizes the use of classical Chinese poems in The Governance of China.Basing on its English translation strategy,the main task is to examine how the translator captures the ideological essence and connotation of the quoted poems in a multi-dimensional contexts,how to balance political and literary aspects,which in turn to “self-shape” China's international image in the new era,and to spread the contemporary value of the excellent Chinese traditional culture in a flexible way.
