In recent years,with the rapid development of biomedicine,new biomedical materials represented by polylactic acid have received widespread attention and become one of the important materials in the field of medical devices.This article focuses on the development of polylactic acid industry and its application progress in the medical field,with a focus on exploring its applications in orthopedics and coronary stents.Finally,the existing problems in the development of polylactic acid are considered and summarized,in order to provide ideas for the further development of the polylactic acid industry and medical applications.
