Green chemical engineering and processes,as cutting-edge technologies promoting sustainable development,have brought innovation and change to the chemical industry.This article elaborates on the basic principles of green chemical engineering,including atomic economy,energy efficiency,and sustainability assessment,and explores in detail its main methods and technologies in the chemical industry.By analyzing the positive impacts of green chemical engineering on production environment,efficiency,cost,product quality,and competitiveness,it emphasizes its important contribution to the sustainable development of the industry.Finally,in order to further promote the development of green chemical engineering,directions for in-depth research on new material development,waste treatment,and resource recycling were proposed,and the importance of international cooperation and knowledge sharing was emphasized to jointly promote the application and development of global green chemical engineering and provide effective support for building a more sustainable future society.
