摘要
Despite the official prohibition of intermarriage between Mongols and Hans during most of the Qing Dynasty, instances of such intermarriages still occurred. These intermarriages had various reasons and resolutions.Punishments, ranging from strict to lenient, were determined according to the law,and reconciliation and settlement were pursued between the parties involved.Although these intermarriages contradicted Qing Dynasty laws, they reflected the mutual blending and interdependence between the Mongolian and Han ethnic groups in the Kharqin region during that time. These incidents showcased the complex dynamics and interactions between different ethnic groups.
