摘要
虾青素是一种抗氧化能力超强的类胡萝卜素,在保健品、食品添加剂、化妆品、医药等方面具有广阔的市场需求。微生物生长速度快,生长需要的营养物质相对于虾青素来说非常便宜,因此科研工作者采用代谢工程手段构建工程菌来生产虾青素。该文综述虾青素的功能及其应用、虾青素来源、虾青素合成途径及利用合成生物学提高微生物积累虾青素的方法,以期为相关科研人员进一步高效合成虾青素提供思路。
Astaxanthin,a carotenoid with strong antioxidant capacity,has a broad market demand in health care products,food additives,cosmetics,and medicine.The growth rate of microorganisms is fast,and the nutrients required for growth are very cheap compared with astaxanthin.Therefore,researchers have used metabolic engineering methods to construct engineered bacteria to produce astaxanthin.In this review,we summarize the functions and applications of astaxanthin,the sources of astaxanthin,the synthesis pathways of astaxanthin,and the methods to improve the accumulation of astaxanthin by microorganisms using synthetic biology,in order to provide ideas for further efficient production of astaxanthin by relevant researchers.
