摘要 The one-China principle is a collection of ideas:there is only one China in the world, the People’s Republic of China is the sole legitimate government of the whole of China, and Taiwan is an inalienable part of China’s territory.Indisputable historical facts and irrefutable legal documents have rendered this principle a universal consensus of the international community and a basic norm governing international relations. To address cross-Strait relations, the Chinese government has introduced“one country, two systems”as a peaceful solution but will not dismiss non-peaceful means in the face of separatist forces and foreign interference.
