Research on Virtual Digital Human Empowering Library User Services from the Perspective of Metaverse

元宇宙的快速发展引发热议,作为元宇宙重要角色之一,虚拟数字人已在各领域得以应用,在图书馆应用中也具有无限潜能。年轻一代用户对现代技术与服务的期待以及元宇宙环境带来的挑战都要求图书馆及时采用新技术升级用户服务,而虚拟数字人可赋能智能问答、阅读推广、用户培训等多重图书馆用户服务场景。为推动虚拟数字人技术落地应用,图书馆要开展技术合作并及时制定技术标准、重视行业与社会虚拟数字人技术人才培养,重视相关法律规范研究制定实施,从而促进图书馆行业虚拟数字人技术应用健康快速发展。

The rapid development of metaverse has triggered heated discussion.Playing an important role in metaverse,virtual digital human has already begun to be applied in various fields,and its application in libraries will also have infinite potential.Expectations of younger generation users for modern technology and service as well as the challenges brought by the development of metaverse require libraries to adopt new technologies to upgrade user services in time and virtual digital human can empower multiple user service scenarios such as intelligent question answering,reading promotion,user training and so on.In order to further promote the application of virtual digital human,the libraries need to carry out technical cooperation and formulate technical standards timely,pay attention to the technical personnel training,and promote the research,formulation and implementation of relevant laws and legislation,so as to promote the healthy and rapid development of virtual digital human in the library field.
