The rich connotations reflected in revolutionary culture from the aspects of carrier,soul,root and core are sufficient to demonstrate that revolutionary culture can establish a fertile soil for fostering virtues.The revolutionary culture contains the value orientation of“what kind of talents to cultivate”,the methods of“how to cultivate talents”,and the original mission of“for whom to cultivate talents”,which well answers the fundamental issues of education.On the paths of promoting virtues cultivation with revolutionary culture,efforts should be made to excavate the revolutionary culture’s resources of cultivating people,innovate the ways of integrating revolutionary culture into education and teaching,and establish and improve the systems and mechanisms of integrating revolutionary culture into education and teaching.
