摘要
本文主要论述哈佛大学围绕“数据科学与计算”,开展学科战略性布局及多通道的数字化人才培养,从而振兴工程教育的具体做法,希望由此揭示综合性大学的“数字化生存”之道。文章建议充分利用综合性大学多学科优势、宽口径特点和复合型取向,在不同学科领域全面开设数据和计算思维导向的交叉创新课程,逐步构建多层次、多通道的数字化人才培养体系,最终以解决关乎社会公共利益的重大现实问题为目标,促使大学、产业、政府、社会的开放式协同,形成超学科的数字化创新生态。
This article mainly discusses Harvard University's specific practice of revitalizing engineering education through interdisciplinary strategic planning and digital talent training around"data science and computing",hoping to reveal the way of"digital survival"of comprehensive universities.The article suggests making full use of the multidisciplinary,extensive and integrated characteristics of comprehensive universities,to comprehensively set up interdisciplinary innovation courses oriented by data and computational thinking in mulita-disciplines,and gradually build a multi-level and multipath digital talent cultivation system.Ultimately,with the goal of solving grand challenges,it promotes open collaboration among universities,industries,governments,and society to form a transdisciplinary digital innovation ecology.
