论边缘计算元操作系统

Discussing the Meta Operating System for Edge Computing

摘要 智能制造是推动传统制造业数字化转型和第四次工业革命的关键,其核心在于深度融合先进制造技术和新一代信息技术,实现自主感知、自主决策、自主执行、自主适应和自主学习。然而,对于自动化和智能化之间的区别,业内仍存在广泛的困惑。许多机构和企业通常将工业机器人、PLC(可编程逻辑控制器)和上层MES(制造执行系统)视为智能制造,因为这些技术在人类主导的监督、管理和编程条件下提高了机器生产力。这本质上是一种“以人为中心”的自动化形式,是基于“人类思想复制”,而不是“以机器为中心”的智能,它们之间存在着显著性、革命性的差别。本文梳理了计算机的发展历史,按照算网融合思想,提出了一种边缘计算“元操作系统”的发展思路,期望能以机器智能化为中心,为智能制造产业开辟新的路径。 Intelligent manufacturing is the pivotal for the digital transformation of traditional manufacturing and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.At its heart is the deep integration of advanced manufacturing technologies with cutting-edge information technologies to enable autonomous sensing,decision-making,execution,adaptation,and learning.Yet,the industry often grapples with distinguishing between automation and intelligence.Many institutions and enterprises often consider industrial robots,PLCs(ProgrammableLogic Controllers),and upper-level MEs(Manufacturing Execution Systems)as intelligent manufacturing when these technologies enhance machine productivity under human-dominated supervision,management,and programming conditions.However,this is essentially a form of"human-centric"automation based on"human thought replication,"rather than"machine-centric"intelligence.There is a significant and revolutionary difference between the two.To elucidate this distinction,this paper reviews the history of computing,proposes a development approach for an edge computing"meta operating system"based on the concept of algorithm-network convergence,and offers insights to pave the way for new directions in the intelligent manufacturing industry.
