This article focuses on “City & Figure-2023 National Art University Figure Painting Teaching and Creation Seminar and Exhibition of Teachers and Students' Artworks” and the inheritance, innovation, development and education of the Chinese figure painting, and discusses the achievements made in and challenges faced by the Chinese figure painting in the new era, in the hope to provide inspiration for the teaching and creation of the Chinese figure painting.
