如何看待音乐艺术的东西方差异?又如何在其中探寻自我,特别是如何在国际上成为文化传统的传承和传播者?正是当代表演艺术界研究与思考的重要课题。带着这些问题,琵琶演奏家吴蛮邀约了美国达特茅斯学院作曲教授董夔、华裔多种器乐演奏家汪洪结合各自的音乐人生经历,共同探讨音乐中蕴藏着的人生况味,通过对话,以他们的视角来思考如何在中西方融合中更加清晰界定自身特质、不迷失自我等话题。

How do we perceive the differences between the Eastern and the Western musical art?How can we explore the self within this context,especially in becoming carriers and disseminators of cultural traditions internationally?These are the topics of contemporary performing arts studies.Pipa player Wu Man invited composer Dong Kui from Dartmouth College in the United States and multi-instrumentalist Wang Hong,with their respective musical life experiences,to discuss their musical lives,and their perspectives on how to define one's own style and not to lose one's self in the fusion of the East and the West.
