根据《住房城乡建设部标准定额司关于请抓紧研编和编制工程建设强制性标准的通知》(建标标函[2016]155号)的要求,住房和城乡建设部拟设工程建设强制性标准38项,代替目前散落在各标准中的强制性条文。《建筑给水排水与节水通用规范》(以下简称《规范》)是建筑给排水领域唯一一本全文强制性工程建设规范,属于通用技术类标准。
