Research on the Reporting Framework of Yahoo Japan to China During the Beijing Winter Olympics

北京冬奥会,作为一项国际性的体育盛事,吸引了全球的注意力。然而,日媒借奥运会这样全球瞩目的大事件,肆意炒作涉华议题,恶意抹黑中国,在对华报道上呈现出明显的偏向性和选择性。通过对日本主流媒体之一“雅虎日本”的报道框架分析可知,在题材选择上,主要关注人权问题、疫情对选手和公民的权利侵害、中国台湾问题等负面新闻,而较少涉及北京冬奥会的体育精神和文化交流。在议题设置上,主要强调负面因素与北京冬奥会的关系,引导读者将这些负面问题与奥运会联系起来。在信源上,引用了部分具有偏见和负面观点的媒体和个人,而较少采用中立或积极的信源。在态度方面,妄议中国内政的较多,整体上表现出负面性。在报道篇幅上,大多集中在负面因素上,对正面因素则较少提及。在标题句式上,多采用直接或间接指责的语气,诱导读者对北京冬奥会产生负面印象。最后,在对立框架方面,大都构建出一种二元对立的框架,将北京冬奥会与一些负面因素联系起来。

The Beijing Winter Olympic Games,as an international sports event,has attracted worldwide attention.However,Japanese media took advantage of the Olympic Games,a major event that attracted worldwide attention,to wantonly hype up China-related issues and maliciously smear China,showing a clear bias and selectivity in their coverage of China.Through an analysis of the reporting framework of Yahoo Japan,one of Japan's mainstream media outlets,it can be seen that in terms of subject matter selection,there is a focus on human rights issues,the infringement of the rights of athletes and citizens by the epidemic,Taiwan issues,and other negative news,while less attention is paid to the sports spirit and cultural exchange of the Beijing Winter Olympics.In terms of topic setting,the focus is on the relationship between negative factors and the Beijing Winter Olympics,guiding readers to connect these negative issues with the Olympics.In terms of sources,some media and individuals with biased and negative views are cited,while neutral or positive sources are less frequently used.In terms of attitude,there are more people who talk recklessly about China’s internal affairs,which generally shows a negative attitude.In terms of coverage,most of the reports focus on negative factors,while positive factors are rarely mentioned.In the title sentence,direct or indirect accusations are often used to induce readers to have a negative impression of the Beijing Winter Olympics.Finally,in terms of the opposition framework,most of them have constructed a binary opposition framework,linking the Beijing Winter Olympics with some negative factors.
