The vigorous development of domestic database software has provided new perspectives and opportunities for university database laboratory teaching.By carrying out teaching practice reforms in database experimentation courses based on openGauss,and building upon existing experimental tasks,students are actively guided to explore database principles,including query processing,optimization,and open-source practices,thereby enriching teaching content and enhancing student engagement in the course.Furthermore,integrating ideological and political education into teaching practice stimulates students̓confidence in domestic technology and deepens their understanding and recognition of domestic database technology.The teaching practice has received positive feedback,improving the quality of course teaching and demonstrating the application value and potential of domestic database technology in experimental teaching.
