摘要
公元9世纪的音乐理论著作《音乐手册》(Musica Enchiriadis)是目前可见文献中首次展示复音音乐最初形式“奥尔加农”的著作,也是将古希腊音乐理论、中世纪初期波爱修斯理论与11世纪圭多音乐理论相联系的桥梁。对该著作展开研究,可以纠正以往学界对中世纪音乐理论乃至中世纪音乐本身的许多刻板、片面甚至错误的认识,这对完整、准确地认识西方早期音乐历史具有重要意义。
The 9th century work on music theory,Musica Enchiriadis (Handbook of Music),is the first time in the current visible literature to show the original form of polyphonic“organum”in music,also as a bridge connecting the music theory of ancient Greece,the theory of Boethius in the early Middle Ages and Guido’s musical theory in the 11th century.The study of this work can correct many stereotyped,one-sided or wrong understandings of medieval music theory and even medieval music itself,and is of great significance to a complete and accurate understanding of the early western music history.
