经济刺激计划对中国企业出口产品质量的影响研究

Research on the Impact of Economic Stimulus Plan on the Quality of Export Products of Chinese Enterprises

利用2003—2013年中国海关数据库、中国工业企业数据库与中国城市统计年鉴的匹配数据,以中国实施“四万亿”经济刺激计划为准自然实验,实证探究企业出口产品质量受经济刺激计划的影响及其影响机制。研究结果表明,经济刺激计划通过提高研发投入与缓解融资约束显著提升企业出口产品质量;因企业性质和贸易方式不同,经济刺激计划对民营、外资企业,从事一般贸易方式的企业和东西部地区企业出口产品质量提升作用更为显著。

Taking China′s implementation of the“Four trillion”economic stimulus plan as a quasi-natural experiment from 2003 to 2013,the impact and mechanism of economic stimulus plans on the quality of export products of enterprises were tested using the matching data of China Customs Database,China Industrial Enterprise Database,and China City Statistical Yearbook.The results show that the economic stimulus plan significantly improves the quality of export products for enterprises by increasing R&D investment and alleviating financing constraints.Due to the different nature of enterprises and trade methods,the economic stimulus plan has a more significant effect on improving the quality of exported products for private and foreign-funded enterprises,enterprises engaged in general trade methods,and enterprises in the eastern and western regions.
