The application of incentive theory is very important in the management of college students.Through studying the behavior and motivation of students,incentive theory designs and implements different incentive measures for different student groups to stimulate students’learning interest and enthusiasm,and improve their performance and achievement.This paper introduces the main content of classical incentive theory and its function in college student management,and puts forward some practical strategies to create positive learning environment,provide diversified incentive methods,establish effective student evaluation system,create interactive learning atmosphere,and cultivate self-motivation and self-regulation ability.It is hoped that this paper can provide some theoretical basis and reference for the application of incentive theory in college student management.
