发挥高校特色科研平台优势助力科普教育发展

Leveraging the Advantages of Distinctive Scientific Research Platforms in Universities to Promote the Development of Popular Science Education

摘要 为全面贯彻落实《全民科学素质行动规划纲要(2021—2035年)》,加强科普基础设施建设,推进全国科普教育基地发展,提升公民科学素质,使公民树立科学的世界观和方法论,对于增强国家自主创新能力和文化软实力、建设社会主义现代化强国,具有十分重要的意义。然而,我国全民科学素质建设在某些方面还存在不足,如科普的有效供给不足、基层基础薄弱等。文章依托中南大学现代轨道交通建造与运维科普教育基地,介绍了其基本情况和特色优势,充分发挥高校特色科研平台优势,将科研成果转化为科普内容,在全国科技活动周、全国科技者工作日、全国科普日等重大活动期间,以线上线下相结合的形式,开展了对外开放、成果展览、科普宣传、科技服务等一系列科普活动,提高了公民的科学素质,打造了高速铁路科普优质品牌。 In order to comprehensively implement the Action Plan for Improving the Scientific Literacy of the Whole Nation(2021—2035)and strengthen the development of science popularization infrastructure,the promo⁃tion of national science education centers,and the enhancement of citizens’scientific literacy,it is of great signifi⁃cance for enhancing China’s independent innovation capabilities,cultural soft power,and the construction of a so⁃cialist modernized country.However,there are still some shortcomings in China’s comprehensive scientific lit⁃eracy building,such as inadequate effective science popularization supply and weak grassroots foundations.This article,with a focus on the Modern Rail Transportation Construction and Operation Science Popularization Educa⁃tion Center at Central South University,introduces its basic information and distinctive advantages.Leveraging the strengths of specialized research platforms in universities,this center converts research achievements into sci⁃ence popularization content.During major events such as National Science and Technology Week,National Sci⁃ence and Technology Workers’Day,and National Science Popularization Day,a series of science popularization activities combining online and offline approaches have been conducted.These activities include open access,ex⁃hibitions,science popularization promotion,and scientific services,leading to an improvement in citizens’scien⁃tific literacy and the establishment of a high-speed railway science popularization brand.
