A library is an important institutioin for knowledge inheritance and cultural dissemination,and a smart library is a new concept of the library supported by big data technology.Through the connotation of smart libraries,this paper analyzes the role of big data in the construction of smart libraries,actively promotes the construction of smart college libraries from the aspects of increasing construction support,improving the theoretical research system,strengthening the construction of resources and librarian talents,expanding smart service channels,building smart micro-media platforms and establishing university library alliances,and improves service quality and efficiency,so as to provide readers with more personalized,convenient and efficient service experiences,promote the digital transformation and intelligent upgrading of libraries,and promote the innovation and development of the library industry.
