As a representative of traditional Miao textile techniques in China,Miao batik and its unique patterns are not only deeply rooted in Miao culture and history,but also become an important resource for the pursuit of innovation in the fi eld of modern design.This paper focuses on the innovative integration and application of Miao batik pattern in modern women's dress design,aiming to explore how to meet modern aesthetic standards while retaining the essence of traditional pattern culture.Through the in-depth analysis of the historical background,pattern characteristics and application examples of Miao batik in modern women's dress design,this study shows the new inspiration brought by Miao batik pattern to modern design and the possibility of enhancing the cultural and artistic value of modern clothing.
