On 18^(th)-century British Aesthetics

18世纪英国美学是现代美学的开端,可概括为以心理学方法解决趣味问题,提出了三大理论解决趣味问题和三个重要的美学范畴,产生了四大美学学派。18世纪英国美学影响了德国古典美学和当代分析美学。中国的18世纪英国美学史研究,应该在翔实文献的基础上,深化相关问题,修正既有观念,把西方美学史的研究推向国别史。

Modern aesthetics was initiated by the 18th-century British aesthetics,the contribution of which can be summarized as having solved the problems of taste in psychological ways.Exactly,it proposed three major theories to solve the problems of taste as well as three important categories of aesthetics,resulting in the birth of four major aesthetic schools.It has exerted a great influence on classical German aesthetics and contemporary analytical aesthetics.The research on the history of the 18th-century British aesthetics should be based on more detailed literature to make a more in-depth study of the related issues,correct some misleading concepts and re-orient the study of the history of Western aesthetics to the history of aesthetics of respective nations.
