Ecostylistics Over Thirteen Years: Reviews and Reflections

文章对近13年来国内外生态文体学研究进行回顾与反思,旨在汲取国外前沿研究成果的有益成分,促进生态人文学科之间的对话,为生态文体学本土化和生态意识提升提供新视角和新思路。文章首先在讨论生态文体学四个定义的基础上,简要呈现了生态文体学发源、发端、发展三个阶段的概貌;接着重点对比评介了国内外生态文体学研究的总体特征、学术转向、代表学派、典型文献和学术活动;最后以作为应用生态语言学的生态文体学为范例,讨论了生态文体学本土建构的两种路径。

Eco-stylistics research has undergone a development process of thirteen years. Scholars both at home and abroad have reached a consensus on the definition of the concept of “eco-stylistics”, yet there are also two divergent views: the“branch theory” and the “dualism theory”. Currently, eco-stylistics research has achieved certain results both domestically and internationally, but there is a significant imbalance in terms of overall characteristics, academic shifts, representative schools, typical literature, and academic activities. Moreover, there are prominent issues such as unclear concepts, fragmented ideas, and lack of methodological unity. Chinese eco-stylistics research needs to actively draw on cutting-edge international research findings and combine them with the ecological wisdom found in traditional Chinese culture, as well as linguistic resources such as the discourse of community in the Chinese context and the diversity of languages in Chinese language life, to carry out localized construction and innovation.
