The strategy of“new medical education”is the leader of medical education innovation in the new era,and puts forward new requirements for medical education reform and talent training.Integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine is an interdisci-plinary subject with Chinese characteristics.In the new era,the educational reform and talent training of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine should focus on the connotation and value of“new medical education”.This article reviewed the professional construction of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine,in the future,it will be beneficial to highlight the unique charm of integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine by improving talent training at all stages,collaboration of medicine and educa-tion,multi-disciplinary intersection of medicine and literature,medicine and engineering,artificial intelligence technology integration and other ways.
