Objective:To explore the clinical feasibility of hand function rehabilitation in hemiplegic patients caused by central nervous system damage using hand function soft mirror robots. Methods:This study included 24 stroke patients with central nervous system injury in the rehabilitation medicine department. In the observation group,on the basis of routine hemiplegic upper limb and hand function rehabilitation training,an additional 30 minutes of hand function soft mirror robot training was added twice a week. The control group received rehabilitation education for the same duration.Evaluate the patient’s Fugl Meyer hand(FMA-HAND),Nine hole peg test(NHPT),Barthel index(BI),and Chinese version of the Short Form Health Survey Questionnaire(SF-12)before and after intervention. Results:The FMA-HAND,NHPT,SF-12,and BI scores of both groups of patients were significantly improved compared to before treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in daily life improvement compared to the control group, while there were significant differences in other aspects compared to the control group, with statistical significance. Conclusion:Training hand function soft mirror robots based on artificial intelligence may improve hand function, finger flexibility, and quality of life in patients with central nervous system injury and hemiplegia.
