This paper aims to explore the latest research advances and significant challenges in water quality monitoring and water environmental pollution control technologies.Firstly,it introduces the severity of water environmental pollution and its potential impacts on humans and ecosystems.Secondly,it focuses on the development trends of water quality monitoring technologies,including sensor technology,remote sensing technology,and big data analysis.Finally,it elaborates on water environmental pollution control technologies,encompassing physical,chemical,and biological methods,as well as emerging pollutant treatment technologies to achieve a cleaner and more sustainable water environment.
