动量词“番”经历了从“客观计量次数”向“表主观情态义”的演变。在演变过程中“番”与基数词“一”组合是计数功能弱化的一个标志,也是现代汉语中表主观大量义的“番”产生的源头。“番”在不同文体的作用下形成了独特的语义特征和复杂的句法结构。
