The SCO summit aligns with India's worldview of"the world as a family,"as does the China-proposed Global Development Initiative,Global Security Initiative,and Global Civilization Initiative,all of which mark steps toward a shared future for mankind.The Shanghai Cooperation Organization(SCO)is an important and inclusive organization immune to Cold War baggage.Enjoying observer status at the United Nations General Assembly(UNGA),the SCO has full members,observers,and dialogue partners whose development,geopolitical,and national security interests converge.
