China and South Asian countries form an expansive market together,boasting a population of about three billion and contributing roughly one-fifth of the global economic aggregate.Over the past decade,collaborative efforts under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative have aligned development strategies,harnessed complementary advantages,and facilitated substantial progress in connectivity,infrastructure,trade,and investment.From 2013 to 2022,China-South Asia trade volume doubled to nearly US$200 billion,with an impressive annual growth rate of 8.3 percent.
