College advisors are the closest to,most frequently in contact with,and most intimately interact with college students.They are at the forefront of ideological and political work in universities,and their work is the most fundamental task of moral education in universities.In the practice of advisors carrying out ideological and political work,the fat-tail of work is the norm,which is realistically represented by the fat-tail of the student group they lead and the affairs they undertake.Understanding the fat-tail effect and controlling tail risks is the inevitable choice for advisors to complete the ideological and political work of universities with high quality.To crack the fat-tail of advisor work and reduce the negative impact of the fat-tail effect,it is necessary to dig into the causes of the problem behind the fat-tail of work,and explore the way to crack the fat-tail based on this.First,we need to improve the quality of advisors themselves and enhance their educational capabilities;second,we need to adjust the focus of advisors'work and optimize the mode of education;finally,we need to improve the corresponding system and strengthen governance effectiveness.
