National Economy Made a Good Start in the First Quarter

一季度,在以习近平同志为核心的党中央坚强领导下,各地区各部门认真贯彻落实党中央、国务院决策部署,坚持稳中求进、以进促稳、先立后破,加大宏观调控力度,突出做好稳预期、稳增长、稳就业工作,在转方式、调结构、提质量、增效益上持续用力,政策效应不断显现,生产需求稳中有升,就业物价总体稳定,市场信心不断增强,高质量发展取得新成效,国民经济延续回升向好态势,开局良好。

In the first quarter(Q1),under the strong leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China(CPC)with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core,all regions and departments strictly implemented the decisions and arrangements made by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council,adhered to the general principle of seeking progress while maintaining stability,promoting stability through progress and establishing the new before abolishing the old,intensified efforts on macro regulation,gave priority to ensuring stability in expectations,growth and employment,and continued to push ahead with transforming the growth model,making structural adjustments,improving quality and enhancing performance.
