Heat pump is an efficient and energy-saving technology equipment that can convert low-grade heat energy into high-grade heat energy.It is widely used in building heating,residential hot water,industrial steam,drying,new-energy vehicles and other fields.Under the strategic background of promoting carbon peak,carbon neutrality,and energy revolution,especially in the long-term trend of electrification of terminal energy consumption and decarbonization of power structure,heat pumps face broad application prospects.This paper expounds the development status of heat pumps at home and abroad,deeply analyzes and studies the huge potential,importance and main challenges of the development of China's heat pump industry in the future,and puts forward suggestions and measures for the development of heat pump industry,which has important reference significance for promoting the development of heat pump industry and cultivating new green kinetic energy.
