新技术和新时代语境下高素质翻译人才跨文化能力和国际文化视野培养

On Cultivation of Translators’Cross-Cultural Competence and Global Cultural Perspective in the Context of New Technologies and the New Era

摘要 翻译人才是任何一个时代和任何一个国家都不可或缺的重要人力资源。因此,培养精通双语的译者成为新中国成立以来国家一直都十分重视的工作。在新技术和新时代背景下,国家对翻译人才,尤其是中译外的高级翻译人才的需求更加迫切。在“机译”已经在很大程度上能够代替“人译”的情况下,对翻译专业学生的能力培养应在继续重视其双语能力的基础上,向重视学生的跨文化能力和国际文化视野适时和适度地调整,为最终培养融通中外、开放自信、德才兼备的高层次、应用型翻译领军人才打下基础。 Translators are an indispensable human resource in any era and any country.Therefore,cultivating competent translators has been considered a very important task by the government since the establishment of the People’s Republic of China.In the context of new technologies and the new era,the country’s need for translators,especially competent Chinese-to-foreign-language translators is becoming more urgent.With the rapid development of AI technology,“machine translation”can largely replace“human translation”.Under this circumstance,we have to put more teaching focus on the cultivation of translation majors’cross-cultural ability and global cultural perspective than on their bilingual ability,so as to cultivate the competent and reliable translation experts who are open-minded enough to be able to integrate Chinese and foreign cultures,and to do translation with a global vision.
